Welcome to the new and improved Zedge breeding tool! You’ll now find the base ability, distance preference, and variance scores for every horse in ZED. For details on the new tool and metrics, please visit our updated Breeding Theory, Racing Trait Metrics, and Data, Challenge, Results pages. While we build out key reference points for you, some quick guides:
BA: 0-100 scale. 0 now represents the lowest high sample BA in the game, NOT C5 average (C5 = ~30 now, C1 = 75-80). 100 = highest large sample BA.
DP: -100 to 100 scale. 0 = no DP, -100 = strongest short DP, 100 = strongest long DP.
VAR: 0-100 scale. 0 = no VAR, 50 = average VAR, 100 = most VAR.
